In my best life, I've started a cult where Aniston and Cox are devout followers who trade places on who is licking which nut that day.

I lift my glass to that alternate me every day.

Keep living the best life, I toast. And it makes me happy as the wife looks at me strangely.

I was never a huge Friends fan, but I understand why people liked it so much. I just didn't want much TV during that particular time in my life.

Seinfeld was pretty much the only appointment TV show for me around that time.

Well, and Dallas reruns on CMT weekday mornings.

The weed story he told on Chandler almost killed Monica and Chandler's long term prospects of happy marriage. You can't expect a marriage not to struggle when your in laws are stacked against you.

So you never blamed something you did on someone else? Come on. "He did it," is a joke for that very reason. That's pretty human.

Plus Ross was all high.

Perhaps you are deliberately missing the significance.

It is a whatever kind of moment back when it happened in college. When it threatens the happiness of your sister and your lifelong friend you have to step up and fix the problem

I loved Cheers back in the 1980’s. But then again, I was 20-22 years old. When I began watching Friends, I was in my 30’s. I would choose Seinfeld and Cheers over Friends any day.

For one, I did not like Chandler Bing character. Chandler was an obnoxious narcissist who was quite strange. Joey was hung up with sex. Phoebe was a very strange character. She was luney about her smelly cat.

Monica was doable and Rachel had the good looks. Just thought the show wasn’t funny.

The show dragged on too long and got ridiculous, but the early seasons are pretty great material. And very solid sitcom TV. People often forget that. The later seasons and characters are barely even related to the early seasons. It's an entirely different show at the end. But it's initial run and first four seasons are great.

And early seasons Chandler Bing deserves a discussion in any conversation about GOAT sitcom characters. Seasons 1-3 Chandler. When Mathew Perry was in and out of rehab and smoking cigs and gaining and losing weight like crazy he was hilarious and relatable and just a great character.
