Agree. You already had Taco, why do you need Rafi? The show just started to be about weird shite because they thought they had played out the football angle.

Shiva !

Yeah I enjoyed the hell out of this show

Ravi became a little too much for me.

They used to absolutely roast Andre. That was the best part of the show

I think it went down hill once they started having cameos by actual football players. Rafi was just the last straw.

Going back through the older seasons (which are now upwards of 13 years old), the draft board and player cameos are pretty hilarious.

I thought they cancelled it because Steve Rannazzisi, who played Kevin, got caught lying about escaping from the WTC on 9/11

The characters were never good people, but they just became downright awful in the last few seasons…..and of course Rafi

Oh shite, I forgot all about that.

Looks like that came out right at the very end of their run, but that the final season had already been planned.

FX Networks, who carries “The League,” said that while Mr. Rannazzi’s deception had been “upsetting” and “unfortunate,” it still would go forward with him as a character in the show’s final season. It has already produced 11 of the 13 episodes.
