I had this same thought today after I attempted to listen to an episode of cinephobe today. Over 10 minutes of them cutting up and trying to be funny before they even start talking about the movie. Turned it off. That's really podcasts in general though. Too many hosts that think that they are much funnier and way more entertaining than they really are.

Nothing really compares with Rewatchables for me, although I agree that some of the hosts can be annoying and too pretentious, and some of the movie choices are meh.

Fatal Attractions is pretty good. It's about the erotic thriller genre that was popular in the 80's and 90's. about 100 episodes.

Like The Big Picture for example. Tried listening to their review of Cocaine Bear and Sean felt he had to bring up his thoughts on the Reagan admin and the war on drugs during the review.

Didn't he bring up the war on drugs because Cocaine Bear is a drug comedy set in the 80s? I think he gave thoughts on how the movie did virtually nothing with the setting, not his opinions on Reagan.

Bill Simmons is the worst part of his own podcast.

No. It's Chris Ryan. The screeching he does in his so-called impressions...then Bill Simmons laughing like it's original comedy.

Check out the 70mm podcast as an alternative.

I'd be shocked if he didn't post. He posts on Carter Bryant's LSU live streams pretty regularly, not sure why he wouldn't here.

Just for mentioning he was on the latest episode? I'm good. Pretty sure he is too.

How dare you? Chris Ryan's Wayne Jenkins is a national treasure.

It's a movie about a bear high on cocaine. I think they were smart enough to not shoehorn their thoughts on Reagan and the war on drugs. Sean on the other hand had to let his audience know where he stands.
