"I wanted to do my own stuff, but we only had a certain amount of time to do everything, so I had to do that one, and it's a really good song. The writers are really good. It's not really something I would write, so I'm excited to get my own stuff out there," Phillips said of the song that gave him his standing ovation, also one that probably sealed the deal for the "Idol" crown.

Speaking of AI, I saw Chris what's his name Dreadlocks at Art Break in Shreveport. I actually enjoyed him. Of course, he finished with Under the Rainbow and Hallelujah.

after reading this board for a couple years one thing I've found to be certian.
Its filled with butthurt, jealous, know it fricking all people.
I love it, some geek college kid on a laptop, knows more about the ability of PhillipP to sing than 3-4 people with damn near 100 years combinded experience in the industry

How could that have possibly taken you a few years to figure out? It's obvious on the first day of reading TD.
It's also funny in a very sad sort of way. However, there are also some very reasonable and knowledgable people here such as myself.
