Superbad is a better movie, but American Pie is a cultural touchstone that encapsulates everything 90's and always leaves me feeling happy they happened and sad they're gone.
AP is more iconic to me. I love both movies.

They’re both hilarious, but AP has prime Shannon Elizabeth and unhinged Seann William Scott. So that gets my vote.
