Eh, there isn't much to discuss. Absolutely great show, great acting, solid plot. There. I summed it up in one post.
This. It didn't leave anything up to interpretation other than what storyline will they take next season.

Best thing to do is have one unanchored thread for the whole show.
In the OP you have links to an individual thread for each episode that are anchored but not locked.
The actual big thread after that OP is full season discussions and spoilers.

I didn't really gather that. examples?
Hero is a strong woman who has an interracial relationship and black male friend who she always stands up for.
Her boss is one of the best attorneys in New York and a lesbian.
Villain is an evil white man who is obsessed with Jessica and apparently raped her at some point.
White neighbors are brother and sister who have sex with each other.
Basically the show beats you over the head with its strong female empowerment themes and mostly anti-white male. I'm not totally against political themes but they could be a little more subtle. X Men I think does a much better job with it.

Yeah. Jessica never got raped. Also, yeah now a days it's the PC things to do!

She says Kilgrave raped her. I think maybe she had sex with him while he was controlling her mind. The current law doesn't consider psychic powers but I guess you could argue that's rape. I wasn't paying that much attention because it was boring.

My thoughts on Jessica Jones:
1. David Tennant should win an award.
2. I don't know how next season can live up to this season without Tennant.
3. Jones is a POS. DWI.
4. Kilgrave isn't actually a villain. To actually be evil, you have to know what evil is; Kilgrave doesn't know that. Jones should have acted as Kilgrave's 'conscience'.
5. The sex scenes were pointless.
6. Cage is the only 'good' person on the entire show (who survives)
7. This is one of the most pro-abortion shows ever

Kilgrave may have the most powerful superpowers ever. Unless you have some sort of resistance to his power, he is unbeatable (Or you take him out in a surprise attack). I know JJ is a retired superhero and probably has a code not to kill, but she should just find Kilgrave, sneak up, and double tap him in the head with a .45. That dude is pure evil.
Throw some headphones on- make a "beat creepy stalker arse" mix.

Am I that slow to get around to it on Netflix?
I just finished it tonight. I obviously kept coming back for it, but can't say I loved it.
I'll give S2 a chance though when it comes out. I really enjoyed Daredevil so I liked the shared character that Rosario Dawson plays.
I feel like there was so much unnecessary stuff in the middle episodes, it could have been a short miniseries or long movie.
I give Netflix originals a lot of credit when choosing what to watch and this kinda disappointed.

Best scene was Jessica and Hogarth walking side-by-side. You got the knock-knees and the bowlegs to compare and contrast. I'm on team knock-knees myself, but I found it all rather distracting throughout the series.

The super strength, without the enhanced durability should leave her a broken mess.
Pretty sure she commented early on before she banged him that she is a lot tougher than normal.

She definitely said he wouldn't break her.
I've always wondered if they dealt with this issue in The Six Million Dollar Man. Anyone know?
