One movie I probably watched more than any other movie, growing up, was The Goonies.

Others that I can remember liking:

- Conan the Barbarian

- The Monster Squard

- License to Drive (which had Heather Graham in it, who I still crush on).

- One Crazy Summer

- The Running Man

- Summer School

- Lost Boys

- Gremlins

- Ghostbusters

- Star Wars (I favored Return of the Jedi because I wasn't born when the original one came out, I was too young to remember when Empire Strikes Back came out and went to the movies to see Return of the Jedi).

- Short Circuit

- Flight of the Navigator

There are more, but these are the ones that come to mind when I think about Summer days, having to come inside to eat lunch and watching something on TV..

We were in front of the TV if the 60's Godzilla movies were on too. There was an independent station in Greenville Mississippi that showed them really late on Saturday nights.

Of the movies made for kids, The Jungle Book (1967), Swiss Family Robinson (1960), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Winnie the Pooh (1966) were great. The Incredible Journey (1963), was my favorite movie as a kid. We only got to see them at the theater back then. Really liked, and got to see a lot of war movies, and westerns. Von Ryan's Express, The Guns of Navarone, PT 109, Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison, King Rat, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Far Country, The Horse Soldiers, The Tall Men, were some of my favorites as a kid.

I was not a fan of the Flubber, and Love Bug movies, but loved Follow Me Boys, with Fred MacMurry.
