It was Star Wars till '80
Empire till '83
ET till '85
Back to the Future till '87, when the GOAT was released...

Star Wars for me, I was 8 when I saw it in the theater.
I'm sure there were various movies on TV (Godzilla, Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, etc) that I'd get excited about, but SW ratcheted everything up bigtime.

Even when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out later, I still saw Harrison Ford as Han Solo, even in that film.

I always say "I don't have a favorite," but if I really think about it...probably Jaws. It's at least the movie I've probably seen the most.

My parents tell me I was very passionate about The Little Mermaid as a toddler/young child so I will probably go with that one.
