Just thought of something watching that recap video, remember them building the runway, did they know the whole time they needed that for the Ajira flight to land on or have something to do with the new possible timeline deal.

10) Adam and Eve

I am pretty sure the producers answered this one already.

I must have missed that. Elaborate please.

The producers have not answered Adam and Eve, but they did say that we will definitely get an answer in S6.

The Black Rock.

...at least that has been my theory for a few years now.

Adam and Eve is from Season 1 I believe. If not 1 then 2, but it's old as crap. It's the corpses of a man and a woman found at the caves. I THINK (might need lsut to help me on this one) they have a black and white stone on them? I haven't seen S1 in a LONG time but I think there's some sort of black/white thing about them. There's been a lot of speculation that they are actually the bodies of two of the original Losties. We will find out this season for sure.

*Spoilers*

I've been made privy to the fact that the producers hinted at Adam & Eve's identity with an anagram in the Room 23 video. The phrase is "Only fools are enslaved by time and space," which can be rearranged as "Bones of Nadlers may lay lost deep in caves."

It's Rose and Bernard.

As for the runway, the Others were building it on Hydra Island. Since Ajira 316 landed on a runway on Hydra Island, I'd say it has served its purpose. I don't know if all the Others knew it was specifically for that plane, but I'm pretty sure at least Jacob would have known.

Yes... The speculation is widled down into it being Rose/Bernard, Desmond/Penny, Jack/Kate

and FTR, the Charlie thing is pretty significant. I cannot see the writers screwing up that bad and it happening to be a fluke.

Pretty sure once the plane hit turbulence he made a B-line to the nearest seat and strapped himself in.

Yeah, the first seat in first class.... You can see him sitting right in front of the glass with the Oceanic emblem on it.

Forward to 1:40

1. What exactly is the Smoke Monster

We know its a security system for guarding the temple. It also can be summoned by Ben which makes me believe that it is a Jacob creation.

2. Who and what are Jacob and the man in black

Two entities playing a "game" based on humanity.

3. What is the statue and why does it only have four toes

It was the Egyptian goddess, Taweret. She is the god of birth and rebirth. She was holding a anhk in each hand which symbolizes eternal life.

4. What are the ghosts (Christian, Charlie) and what is their purpose.

My best guess is that Essau and Jacob can take the form of deceased people. We are not seeing Christian or Charlie's ghost. We're seeing either Essau or Jacob using their form to advance their game.

We thought it was... Not saying that it isnt, but its looking more and more like Smokey is actually Essau.

I can't wait to find out more about Esau. He is such an integral character that we know so little about. Lsut, I read 2 lost forums and have gotten some theories there, but haven't talked much lost on here so I'd like to get your opinion.

*SPOILERS*

Do you think that Esau took over dead Locke's body in the finale of S5? We know for sure that Locke in present day is dead. We then see Locke alive and well on the island. We later see Locke's lifeless body thrown out of a box. Is that your take on it, that Jacob's nemesis is taking the form of Locke?

he didn't "take over" the body (you saw the body dumped on the beach) so much as he took the "form" of Locke

Right. I think that Essau and Jacob can take the form of anyone these choose. There are several scenes throughout the series that hint at this.

Ok...at the beginning of the finale Esau says he so wants to kill Jacob but has to find a loophole. Since Esau finds a way to do that (through Ben) at the end, what does that ultimately mean? Does Esau "win"? Does someone else now take control of the island?
