I love when they asked him his opinion on the war in Iraq "I don't know, I'm just an actor"

YOU ARE SO LUCKY!! DO YOU KNOW HOW BLESSED YOU ARE???!!!

Seriously though, I bet he is very nice. And not shocked that Angelina didn't talk. She seems like she wouldn't be very nice IRL.

I wanted to stalk, I mean observe, him when he was filming Moneyball here in AZ but I couldn't due to work.

I would likely be the same way, too scared I would say something really stupid.

I'm sure you are glad you couldn't read her mind though at that moment

Snatch and IB are gimmick roles

So? He nails both characters, but those 2 and Fight Club may be similar, but are nothing like Louis from Interview with a Vampire. Jason Statham and even Joe Pesci play the same note much more than Brad Pitt. I think he 's perfect in those supporting roles like Snatch, FC and IB.

I should add that by and large i think acting is grossly over rated. Unless it is distractingly horrible (think Sophia Coppola in GFIII) it doesn't matter to me.

I strongly disagree about snatch...it's not like it was a very demanding role at all. I'd go with Romance or Benjamin Button

The idea where a funny or unique accent and/or name makes the character interesting, and it works to a degree. I just don't think those are his best performances

I get what you are saying but the accent is just part of what makes Mickey interesting and really has nothing to do with Aldo the Apache being interesting.

not his most popular movie, but he was great in The Tree of Life.

same can be said for Burn After Reading as well.

I have a friend who worked on set pretty close with Brad Pitt while in NOLA a couple of years ago. he was part of a small group of those who worked closely with Brad that were invited to their French Quarter home for a crawfish boil. he said that as soon as they entered the door there was a lawyer present who had everyone sign confidentiality agreements and they had to put their cell phones in a separate room. he said Brad is a really cool guy and a bit "country" as you would expect being from Oklahoma and what not and that Angelina was polite, but that they are night and day different from one another.

My favorite Brad Pitt role is in Fight Club, but I think his best performance is 12 Monkeys. He also kills it in Snatch and Ocean's Eleven.

Eta: I think he was great for what he was suppused to be in Inglourious Basterds, but I didnt really dig the direction of the character. I like BP in most anything to be honest.

Otherwise he's a decent Robert Redford type

I don't hear it mentioned much, but he was pretty good in Spy Game with Redford.

My vote goes to Fight Club.

The Assasination of Jessie James, 12 Monkey's, Se7en, and Tree of Life are probably his best. Really enjoyed those performances.

His role in True Romance is funny, and totally reminds me of an old, worthless roommate of mine, to a 't'.

His role in IB was funny too. It was over the top, yes, but thats what it was supposed to be. Every nationality in that movie that was portrayed was ultra-stereotypical. I enjoyed his role.

I aslo enjoyed his role in Legends of the Fall.

I like most of his roles, though.
