What do we think of the new HBO show Succession?

I watched the first three episodes last night and it seemed entertaining enough.

It's awesome... There's a semi dead thread around here somewhere, but only about 4 or 5 of us were partaking.
The show is both dark yet addicting and funny.
Ken is such a sympathetic dude though, he's just trying not to frick up, but can't see the ambushes around him.
Roman may well be a serial killer too, at minimum he's a sociopath.

I agree about Ken...I can't stand Roman's character. I think that's how it is suppose to be but everytime he talks it is way too over the top

I only saw the first episode , but obviously Ken is gonna hit the nose candy hard and break down completely at some point this season.
I definitely into this show, especially since there’s not much good on at the moment.

Roman reminds me of like a 1980’s cartoon super villain. He’s the one character I can’t stand. If that’s how it was written, the actor is killing it, if that’s not how it was written, terrible choice by the directors.

Shiv’s fiancé is my favorite character. He’s completely out of place and his attempt at humor with Greg is hilarious. Both of my buddies that watch this show can’t stand him, I think his name is Kevin?

Yeah, I started the thread, but didn’t get much traction. It’s the best drama on TV right now IMO. I like it better than West world this season. Roman acts like a psychopath, but I love it. He’s definitely my favorite character so far.

Agreed. I love how he constantly fricks with Greg, and Greg just folds.

I'm in for right now, didn't think it was anything ground breaking. I'm probably more entertained by Greg and Tom in the parks department than anything going on with the Roy kids at this point.

The Roy kids are such shitheels. Kendall is weak as frick, Roman is a legit psychopath, Shiv is annoying as hell, Connor just DGAF about any of this.
Shiv is easily my least favorite character though.
The kids altogether are fricking shitty.

This show is my new jam. The acting is incredible.
I had to force myself through 90 mins of Westworld and this show flys by.

I’m with you on that. Last nights episode was another shitshow, in a good way. I love the dysfunction and backstabbing and making side deals.
