WW2 in HD may be the best thing I have ever seen on the History Channel
I would agree with that. Watched it all the way through maybe 3 or 4 times. Is it on Netflix?

F*ck yeah how cool would it be to be in a "wrestling" family....you know, besides the whole likelihood of dying at age 38 thing.

1- The Civil War (Ken Burns) - probably the first one I saw which used the vintage photographs and reading from letters and journals. That stuck with me.

In no particular order:
When We Were Kings - I used to love the fight game, and it was a common interest with my father. The film made me nostaligic for those days and that time, in particular, when I was still in grade school
On the Farm - It was a look at prison life that you never really see. The fact it was our state prison gave it a local flair, as well.
9/11 (television - not a feature) - by the Gaudet Brothers. Although the subject matter was compelling on its own merits, the Gaudets' style, the transition from a story about a "probie" firefighter, to the tragedy of the day, back to the "probie" - and the way they were able to tell the big story through all the little stories - all marks of a great documentary.

Dear Zachary
The Best That Never Was (30 for 30)
Do You Believe in Miracles? (1980 US Hockey)
And not to start a holy war but I thought Man on Wire was complete shite.
