i highly doubt i'm the first person to note this, but given abrams' involvement the first 2 episodes definitely have the same feel.

Difference is that the Dolls from Dollhouse are actual people that entered into a 5 year contract with their original memories still in storage.
The ones from Westworld are empty shells programmed with a narrative.

I would just like to interject that irrational hatred of Abrams and blaming him for something that isn't his fault is something I'd like to retain the monopoly over, if you don't mind.
