Idk she and the crackhead were the best parts of the story. Would be cool to see her in the 1920s in the south or something wreaking havoc on a town.

That being said I didn’t think the movie was that good but WB is desperate for wins.

didn't see it but I read the full plot synopsis and I'm having trouble seeing why it's getting such praise. Maybe it was well done or something but the plot sounds boilerplate as hell for these low budget horror films.

I saw it without knowing the plot or spoilers and enjoyed it that way.

Best movie ever made? No. But pretty good. And because I didn't know the biggest surprises I enjoyed the best parts enough to really like it and leave happy.

A plot doesn't have to be overly complicated to be effective IMO. The areas getting the most criticism are probably the little loose ends where it wasn't simple enough for some

Jfc This is such a dumb way to try to judge a movie or understand its reception

It’s like going to a restaurant everyone is raving about, looking at the menu, then walking out without eating any food going “I don’t get it”

Movies are a visual medium my guy.

No need for that. The story is already complete.
