Watched The Land Before Time for the first time in almost 30 years

And it still got to me when Littlefoot’s mom died at the beginning.

It feels like cartoons in the 80s and 90s had more respect for childrens intelligence than they do now. This movie has some dark moments and pretty scary if you’re a kid (which is why I vividly remembered most of the movie even though it had been 3 decades since I last watched) but it’s still rated G

Also surprised me that it’s only an hour long. I remembered it being so much longer as a kid

First movie I ever saw in the theater.

It’s still a go to watch on the rare occasions home sick from work.

Probably my favorite animated movie of all time. I still own the VHS tape.

The best I could do is watch a TikTok and someone cut onions. All those Disney movies growing up parents died
