I try and watch this movie every so often. It's one of the few DVDs I still own. Intense and dark story that stays with you. Great acting. Beautifully shot. All around great film that doesn't get the love it deserves.

Big fan of it. Score was as complementary to a movie as I've ever seen. Glad it's you scene is one of my favorites. His son played baseball agaisnt LSU at the box and is now on MTV Teen Wolf. (Someone was going to mention it at some point )

Despite being nominated it really didn't ever receive public recognition.

Its is in my top 5 movies of all time. I love telling people to watch it who have never heard of it.

The guy who made it just came off American Beauty and to me I didn't care for it at the time because it was in some ways American Beauty with gangsters--all the way down to the fate of the two lead characters.

I haven't seen it again since the first weekend it came out, but I think I would probably like it now that I wouldn't compare it to American Beauty.
