Watched Blind Date for First Time in Over 30 years - it sucked!

I recall seeing this movie in a theater in the 80s, and had good memories of it. All star cast: Bruce Willis, Kim Basinger, John Larroquette, Phil Hartman and directed by Blake Edwards.
We watched it last night - switched off about halfway through finding it unwatchable. I now see Rotten Tomatoes gives it only a 21% rating.
Really sad when your memory of something does not pan out.

I saw it when it first hit video stores and remember liking it a lot. Haven't seen it since then but always wondered why it had such a terrible imdb rating.
FWIW, I can remember seeing Flash Gordon at the theater and feeling like it was just as good as Star Wars. Pretty sure that one didn't age very well.
