I walked out of a movie once, I went to manager and complained that it was because of the kids in theater. He ended up giving me free passes so I did not really lose any money.

Movie I walked out on was Lord of Rings

Cabin Boy when I was young. Possibly the worst dollar I have ever spent in my life.

I came *this* close to walking out of The Village after the "present day" reveal. That might be the most groan-inducing experience of my film watching career. Holy shite.

Didn't though.

Never walked out of one. I almost walked out of Irreversible during the rape scene. That movie was an experience. I think it was excellent, but I never need to see it again.

I've walked out of one movie that sucked to see another movie. Not about to get ripped out of my money.

Saw a bunch of people walk out of BRUNO. What did they expect?

One time in high school, I went with a friend who decided she wanted to leave so we did, but I ended up getting my money back. She acted like it was normal and it was something she did all the time. I don't remember the name of the movie but it was one of those loud, crazy Saturday nights at the movies anyway.

i dont really see whats so horrible about walking out... if it is really bad enough that you have zero interest in the ending or zero hope that it will get any better,, then i dont see a problem with cutting your losses and bailing.

If I go spend a shite ton of money to go see a movie in a theater, it is most likely a movie I've been waiting months or years to see or a movie where I'm almost certain I'll love it. It just seems silly to me to drop 9 bucks on a movie without doing some kind of research into it.

Completely agree. I inevitably drop $20 every time I go to the movies now so I pretty much only go see things I know I have a high probability of liking.

The only movie I've ever left early in my life was Windtalkers w/ Nick Cage. I was in highschool with a group of people and it sucked so we all left.

I won't go to the movies unless something has decent reviews in the first place. I can generally tell by the trailer if the movie is going to be palatable.

If my luck ran out and I thought a movie was awful halfway through, I'd probably stroll into another auditorium and watch something else.
