but Beth is like 18, No real available dudes around, in the back of her mind she is thinking that each day may be her last.

Oh trust me, I was torn for a second but, as I get older, I've learned to appreciate the value of a "fun" girl over a pretty, inexperienced chick that's probably a dead frick.
Honestly though, if I was in that position, I'd probably test the waters with both to make sure.

This is how I see it happening. The more Beth takes control of raising Judith, the more she's going to want Rick.
