Absolutely stunning movie. It's in my top 5 of all-time. Every person I've recommended it to loves it except for my douchey political freak Uncle .

re-watched it about 3 weeks ago for the first time in years, and it's still amazing. love that movie. the writing is so brilliant.

quote:

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you, and you may call me V.

its the movie that you forget about and every time you watch it, you say its one of the best..... then you forget about it.... then watch it and say its the best... repeat over and over again.....

That's exactly how I feel about it. Well put.

For the long time I had no idea he was V. Mindblown when I found out after watching him in LOTR.

The end was great!

That's one of the greatest introductions of a character in a movie ever IMO, great sequence of lines. And it's a great great movie ( and a great graphic novel as well).
