It would be interesting to see what would they do if he couldn’t continue this season since BCS is a prequel to Breaking Bad.

It would be a horrible situation and you obviously couldn’t kill off the character. I’m pretty sure Gilligan would just find a similar type actor or maybe even one of his good friends in the business to finish out the part. It would just have to be another actor playing Saul Goodman. It’s the only way to pull it off.
