I really enjoyed this movie. It was sad, funny, happy, etc all in one sitting. Pixar films may be masterpieces on some levels and not others. I would call this a masterpiece among family and feel good movies. When I say masterpiece, don't go in there expecting a Kubrick film. It was worth 9 dollars and was very entertaining.

Just got finished seeing it. Fantastic film. Everyone should see it. Dug the dog may be my favorite Pixar character yet, and everything with the dogs was great. After 70 years of animation Pixar finally perfected the talking animal.

I do have one complaint: The 3-D is completely unnecessary for this film. If you have a theater with a 2-D option, take it since it isn't worth the extra 3 bucks for the 3-D. It would be slightly below Wall-E and Ratatouille for me, but as of now, it would probably be my 3rd favorite Pixar film.

Side Note: The previews before it (aside from Toy Story 3) were horrible. Raining Food? That may be the worst concept for a film of all time.

Saw it this weekend and thought it was really good. For a Pixar movie, I'd rate it in the top 2/3rds, which means it's pretty much better than every other CGI movie not Pixar or called Shrek, and most live action movies. Very enjoyable, and really pulls at the heart strings.

I saw it in 2D, and like others I don't think I missed anything by not seeing it in 3D.

I believe the "raining food" movie is based on a popular kids book.

Watch a Movie like Grave of the Fire Flies. After that you'll see how shallow all our American animation is.

Would that be "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs"? Shame to admit that was one of my favorite books as a kid.

I know this sounds strange, but I think the 3-D actually makes the movie alittle worse. It was completely unnecessary, and was more amazed when I took off the glasses than when they were on since colors are much better in 2-D than 3-D films.

Figured that out afterwards, but there is no way this film will break the generation barrier like Pixar does with all of its films. It will likely be torture for parents to watch it.

I brought the kids and we all really liked it. Way better than I thought it would be from the trailers.

(Ed Asner's voice was too stereotypical old croggety bastard - or maybe Ed Asner just annoys me.)

*** Mild Spoilers:

The voice modulators for the dogs was pure comic gold. Hearing dog inner monologue was hilarious and clever!

I actually liked UP. It was sad though.

And of all the Pixar movies, Incredibles should definitely be near the top. They should make a 3-D sequel to that movie.

This is the only Pixar movie I would like a sequel to. Toy Story 3 and Cars 2 may have been forced on them by Disney like Toy Story 2 was (although that surprisingly turned out great), and thus the plot may not be as good as an original film by them. The others are certainly good as stand alone films only.

Wall-e was fantastic and they came back and did something just as good on their next try.
