We all know most of the great ones. But too many are under seen and underrated. Not conmrehensice by any means but some include:
The Long Goodbye
A lot of this goes to the theme written by John Williams in one of his first written pieces. With that in mind, few people have heard the song which is sexy as frick.
LINK
The Stuntman
Another sexy jazzy 70s gem, the Stuntman has a beautiful theme sung by dusty springfield that I can’t find anywhere by YouTube.
LINK
Ravenous
This is an incredibly quirky movie pared with an even odder soundtrack that fits the movie so well it’s easy to get lost in. It’s back country happy horror. Hard to choose one track in particular but:
LINK
The Man In the Iron Mask
This is an excellent, thrilling soundtrack that is truly underrated among the adventure soundtracks of its day. There are many great tracks
LINK
Koyaanisquatsi
Ok, most of us have heard parts of this but few have ever actually scene the actual ..... video essay. So I’m listing this as underrated. This is a full symphony made for a video essay on the changing world and is actually pretty renowned about the people who have seen the flick
LINK
There’s plenty more but here’s a start for this thread

Edward Scissorhands (Elfmans best)
Pride and Prejudice (2005) sounds like they borrowed music from the time period, but it's all original.
3:10 to Yuma (remake)
Memoirs of a Geisha-John Williams stepping out of his comfort zone
