Yeah. I only mentioned them because they had the biggest budget that HBO had ever given a series, then Rome had the biggest budget HBO had ever given a series.

It's almost like a curse that leads to two seasons, with a ton of plot crammed into the second season.

Im throwing Vinyl into the mix. The premier directed by Scorcese was dogshit and turned a lot of people off. but the show hit a stride late in the season and the finale was awesome. I was bummed when it didn’t get a second season

SyFy went through a lot of decent shows around that time because it was cheaper to do Ghost Hunters or some shite.



“The Mick” on Fox was pretty damned hilarious. Should have gotten more run, and funny that they use it prominently in their advertisement for their streaming app.
