TV characters you use to hate but now love

first one comes to mind is Andy from The Office, from his very first scene calling Jim "Big Tuna" I hated that guy but now Andy is my favorite character on the show. I also hated the Nellie chick god she was annoying.

Andy had about a season, season in a half where he was likable.

Well, imo, they've completely destroyed his character. My favorite time for Andy was when he was interviewing for the assistant to the regional manager position with Dwight.

I like most TV characters. Favorites have to be Jim or Dwight.
I absolutely hate the character Ted Mosby from HIMYM. Had Harris and Segel not saved that show every episode I couldn't have gotten through all the way to season 6. Annoying actor, and the character is completely unbelievable. And a big puss and downer.
