28 Days with Sandra Bullock was pretty realistic. I spent 28 days in a treatment center a while back. The experience portrayed with the depression, denial, acceptance and struggles was pretty close.

Barfly. Based on a book by the best ever (truest?) author who did alcoholism.

Could never do 28 days. Went through a lot of 5 day sobriety programs for 3 days and many outpatient/12 step type of things before I got sober. I hate being in a place I can't stay.
Days of wine and roses is a pretty good movie about alcoholism. It's really difficult to capture in a short amount of time what addiction really does to someone though.
