I think he meant that Rick Santorum is exactly like Steve Newlin when he was human in season 2 and it would make sense to go after another man that's similar to Steve Newlin.
I definitely miss Sarah Newlin. That woman was hot.

Really? The Terry plotline this season was unnecessary dead weight. IMO this season would've been much better without that and some of the wolf stuff.

I know it's about the only plotline that did not have a role in the final episode, hell even final three epispodes and did not tie into the main story at all.

And they need to put to rest the "Lafayette is a witch" plotline. Just let him be a funny side character from now on. I'm not a fan of that former witch Merlotte chick Andy has been dating either. Andy is good every now and then in his scenes with Jason but I don't see the point of him having 4 fairy babies.
This show would be a lot better if they just let the side characters be side characters; use them for funny quips every now and then, don't give them full blown storylines that detract from and don't eventually connect to the overall/main plot of each season. At least the Sam/Luna/Emma being a werepuppy plotline connected with the Authority somehow, and even that was kind of a stretch.
