1. I really wish they'd kill off Sookie
That would probably not be a good idea considering she is what the show is based off of.
It would be like killing Tony Soprano in Season 3 with several more seasons to go.

Sookie doesn’t bother me as much as Tara does. I wish they would kill her off ASAP.
Watching her have sex was like watching a wildebeest give birth. Even when she rolls her eyes it's overacting.
I hope Franklin sucks her dry and dumps her next to that trucker's dead body.

I'd love to see it, but don't see it happening. I don't really see any of the main characters getting killed off this season....could be wrong.

Why not just rename this "True Blood Season 3 thread" instead of changing the date every week? Just a suggestion

There's not a character on this show that doesn't take classes from the Al Pacino School of Overacting.

this is some stupid shite. just saying. bad dialects. bad stereotypes. awful geography. shitty actors. ever changing plot. the whole nine yards. this show has it all. and that all is ... stupid. not to mention, vampires, at this junction, are just tired and played out. In a word.. stupid. how does this show go on?

If you don't like it, don't watch it, and please keep your flaming out of the thread. Obviously the M/TV board has a group of True Blood fans and it's slightly immature to come into the thread and talk about how much you don't like it when we're trying to discuss the show. Thanks

No offense, 4eva. I thought I made valid points. Outside of seeing hard-bodies and nakid chiks, what is the point? This show is a mess. I can dispatch belief for the sake of a TV show for a while, but this crap takes the cake.

I respect your opinions ssand, not everyone is gonna love every show on TV. I just think when it comes to hatin on a show, you should start an anti-true blood thread. You'd probably actually find more people like yourself than posting in the weekly thread
I just started watching True Blood in May. Not the best show on TV, but not the worse. It's actually the first HBO series I've watched.
Funny you say that. I was trying to describe True Blood to my boyfriend and I told him it was a pornographic version of Twilight

you are honest and good peeps, 4eva. i'll keep watching, even though it's a train wreck.

I would definitely suggest starting from the beginning. I have Comcast and both season 1 & 2 are on demand right now. Watching it in the middle of season 3 is kind of weird without knowing the backstory. Hell, it's weird even when you do know what's going on

I thought it was because she was his maker so he had to do whatever she said
Didn't we see in a flashback her telling him "as your Maker, I release you?" And the impression I got regarding Maker commands they don't carry the irresistible weight unless they say "As your Maker I command you."

It's a good show, very entertaining, as for Tara getting killed off like one poster suggested I think that's just some race shite going on there, her and Lafayette are 2 funny MF's, especially Laffy and they are kinda main characters backing up Sookie, Bill, Stackhouse and the rest of the gang.
somebody said Sookie will get it on with Eric, but it's looking more like she'll be going Alcide's way.

I've called it the adult version of Twilight while I was catching up via Netflix. Glad I am not the only one who sees the connection
Dunno how representative the series are for the books, but there is enough similarities to make me wonder of Meyer simply paraphrased the Sookie Stackhouse books for teenage girls.

SPOILERS
Sookie and Eric pairing up is kinda set in stone. A big break is coming between Sookie and Bill, and she will turn to Eric. They already are laying down the foundation for both....only a matter of time.
