I liked it, but it was just ok. Worth the watch for sure. Not one of his ( Scorsese ) best, but definitely kept my attention. You will figure it out pretty soon into the movie I think.

Lynn Whitfield is from Baton Rouge.
Her dad is/was a dentist. She has been in a ton of movies and talks about Baton Rouge in interviews.

re: so Oliver Stone....

Stone is a major pot smoker; he has been busted several times, a huge acid tripper and coke-head.
I think allot of his controversial comments he has made over the years can be somewhat attributed to his heavy drug use. I’ m not defending him or saying it excuses his behavior.
Just think this may be one of the reasons he has become crazier than a run over dog.
I loved NBK, but did anybody see U Turn? He was obviously using when he made that, because it was one f’d up movie.

Though I did like his performance in Hollywoodland.
I totally agree. I'm not his biggest fan, but this movie proved that he REALLY can act. It is a shame more people did not see it. It was a good movie but sad.
The Town looks like it is going to be great. He did a really good job directing Gone Baby Gone.

I saw it and almost wished I had not. Yes, it was a good movie but just a little to disturbing for me.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Did anybody see this one? I watched it this weekend and thought it was visually stunning but completely confusing. I think I should have been tripping on acid when I watched it.
If anybody can offer a good explanation on what exactly happens and why I would love to hear it.
Any thoughts?

Is it a Basic Instinct/Fatal Attraction-type thriller?
Yes it is. It has a few surprises in it. Amanda and Julianne are both REALLY good in it.

Hey guys, have any of you watched this movie?
I thought it was pretty good and interesting. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Plus, allot of you men are gonna like it because Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried have some pretty steamy scenes together.

Thanks for the wikipeida update
Not a Wiki update. Just speaking from personal experience of being around these dogs since I was 5yo and helping to raise 3 of them myself.
Just was giving a little more insight into this breed for those who enjoyed the movie.
Hope you can understand that. That's all.
