Seriously, all anyone really needs is thepiratebay and demonoid.

If you get caught, you're doing it wrong.

I canceled netflix after I started using torrents. I have every tv show and movie I want to watch with great quality and sound and never paid a dime for anything. I love it.

downloading hangtime for the old saturday morning shows right now

Don't have a site that torrents TV shows but this site is pretty good for streaming different TV shows (every show I want to watch is on there). If you want a copy of the video, you can try to capture the video through software. No need for invites or anything.

This. Just run an IP blocker and antivirus/malware and you're good to go. There's only a couple of uploaders I will download a torrent from. I only torrent tv shows and use EZTV and ETTV. Never had a problem. Movies are easier to get at redbox or netflix.

again i don't know why more people don't just use direct links as opposed to torrents. torrents are slower and traceable. especially if your ip provider looks for it.. which is doubtful.

i use sites such as filestube.com -my last preference, and if it's a harder movie to find anywhere else

megauploadforum.net -my 1st prefence

or even xbox360iso.com -awesome site

all free

for legit download links.

it helps if u are a premium member to the filehosting site such as megaupload.. download is super quick.

to answer about your comment streaming vs just downloading.. downloading is better for possibly quality reasons.. or if you want to line up a playlist of all your movies to play.. or if you want to stream to your tv maybe via xbox 360.. etc.. i'm not big on most stream sites bc it takes a while to find a working link or they want your money or you to download some type of program. i just like to get the movie and be done with it.

It takes me 10-15 minutes to torrent a 500 mb file. It would take me hours to use the direct download sites as a non-premium member.

I got caught using Utorrent once. It cost me $100 and i've been wary of torrents ever since. Not sure how I was 'doing it wrong'

thats really good!
torrents have come a LONG ways over the past few years.. you are right if you are not a premium member i don't blame u.

again, great point. i guess i've just been spoiled with having access to premium filehosting sites or getting free memberships.

i have a friend who's ip provider contacted him and threatened to cancel service if he got caught again for this.

like some have said you can probably try to do the ip blocker method.. i still recommend direct links, especially if u get a premium account.

i just don't like torrents bc it can expose your computer.. but others highly recommend it with outstanding results and i don't blame them.

Not really. Say for instance I downloaded Boardwalk Empire two days ago it was a 1.5 gig 720p file that I downloaded in about 10-15 minutes on megaupload and I'm not a member.

Most file hosting sites allow you a certain amount that you can download for free in a given day. And most movies/shows I download there will be links from multiple filehosting sites that are interchangeable. That's how I do it.

Download jdownloader and you can manage them all in one program.

Your ip adress isn't floating out there with file hosting and nobody us uploading anything from your computer our using your bandwith. It's just pure downloading. The worst that can happen is the download links get removed.

Which direct download site do you recommend if I were to pay for a premium account? I get links to download mixtapes that way sometimes but the site I get the links from doesn't do movies.

And I did get caught by my service provider. I opened my browser one day and to re-enter account info and acknowledge that I reviewed the terms of use. I was pretty passed.

Also how do you block your IP address? That seems like it would be an easy fix

i prefer megaupload because the 2 sites i use most are dedicated almost entirely to their downloads..

megauploadforum.net and xbox360iso.com

if you use megauploadforum and search for a movie and go to the thread.. it's best to scroll towards the bottom and download the latest version.. usually that is the best quality.

you also get access to megavideo, megapix, megalive, megabox.. etc with it..

filesonic is good if you use filestube.com but they also still have a ton of megaupload links.. it's just filestube is a little more complicated in terms of search and getting the correct version. (sometimes there is foreign audio)

it just depends, but i would try it without the membership just to see. it really may not take that long to download without premium. if you download .rar files you can get winrar to join them together by right clicking on the 1st rar file once you have them all downloaded and hitting join or extract to..

as far as ip blockers go.. you can get google and download "hotspot shield" it is free and gives you like a fake american ip. i'm not sure if this works well with torrents. i am not as advanced in my knowledge of hiding or shielding ips.. someone else may be of better assistance.

what i'd like to know is what if you used a neighbor's wifi.. would they get in trouble..
