Quit engaging Musick. He's yet to offer one reason why the movie was good outside of "because I think differently" "because it shite on the rest of the fanbase" "because it destroyed the Skywalkers".

He has yet to name specifics scenes and charter arcs that he appreciated for their quality film making evidence

Half the audience would have shat on it, even if it were a perfect movie.

I never said it was you all specifically that hated TFA.

There were many more threads pointing out how bad it was and why it was a shitty rehash. I defended it like I am now.

I not once said it was you guys who hated it.

I'm over it, you all hate it, it's apparently worse than AtoC and according to RT, which is looked at as gospel here BvS, suicide squad, and the Warcraft movie are all light years better

Any sequel that treats the previous movie like TLJ treated TFA deserves to be shat on, no matter if it was a perfect movie or not.

You cannot ignore the source material.

The movie was to move on and take the mystery and power away from the Jedi Order.

Yoda literally burned it all down. That took balls and Johnson knew what he was doing, and it was a bold, necessary move. Skywalker wasn't Jesus. He was flawed and that's what defined him.

This movie is about Rey and Ren, and that story is awesome. I wish the sequels would have just left the OT characters alone because having them in it is causing this.

Star Wars is too big for it's own good. The perfect movie quote was about no matter how they handled Luke, it would have upset 50% the people.

I've been consistent with all my points, as all of you have. I like the direction they are going and you all wanted Luke to be something he wasn't.

Of course there are people who shite on it. It is the internet. Just like there are people who don't like game of thrones or breaking bad or seinfeld here. But the majority liked TFA.

Yes they did. Luke wasn't perfect. Luke was also not a cranky hopeless coward who would think of murdering a family member in his sleep either.

But we have been through this. You are delusional.

Well no because the majority of those are actually good and didn't ruin an american cinema treasure.

Actually, he was, since this is canon.

Also we last left Luke what... 30 years ago? But right Luke should be what YOU interpret his character to be, not the studio who owns him and the director writing him.

This is my point entirely. Boo fricking hoo muh STAR WARS IS RUINED. It was beloved, a classic! How dare Disney, who paid billions for it do this?

WOE IS ME, MY CHILDHOOD GOT RAPED. . I'll be glad when this trilogy finally weeds out entitled brats that, God forbid, wanted to keep their beloved memories intact.

Listen to yourselves

You've said this at least 4 times... each point being different.
