Hell, the critic rating is definitely closer to the audience rating, maybe not as low, but definitely not 90+%.

FWIW, it was as bad with Ghostbusters, and that only got 70ish percent

It is some frustrating bullshite that everyone is attempting to paint those who view this movie negatively as Nazis when the focus should instead be on how Rotten Tomatoes blatantly falsifies their scores.

Its the exact same as what happened with the all-female Ghostbusters2016.
You can't even begin to have a conversation about the movie because they've already labeled you every negative connotation they could possibly conceive of. Its all SJW's because this is the universal rebuttal for every opinion that disagrees with theirs since SJW's were put into existence.

Not criticizing you for not liking it but I've yet to talk to someone in person who didn't like it (ranging from casual fans to Star Wars nerds).
Not saying it was spammed. It's just weird to me that the online reaction is so different from what I've encountered in my personal life.

I have have met multiple people who have liked it and multiple people who hated it.
The group I went with the other night was split 50/50.

I don't know what to tell you. I went to the theater with 6 people and everyone liked it. The end of the movie got a BIG applause.
And then everyone I've talked to since then has liked it.

Hey guess what? Me too. I work in a large employee setting which is usually a good litmus test of the pulse of pop culture. I've yet to hear one single person even dislike it. The closest I've heard where pointing out of some of the flaws but nothing changed the overall feel of the movie.
I've given up posting here about it, there's an obvious butthurt on this board bc Johnson has killed their childhood and it's pointless to discuss the movie if you like it bc you will just get cut down to the point of name-calling and juvenvile level discussions of how THEY thought the movie should have went.
It's embarrassing.
