I have seen it twice and both times the audience cheered when the credits rolled. I guess Disney planted all the people as well.

Same here.
But I also live and work in South Louisiana. Everyone is just a little too dumb to know any difference. They also oddly stood up and cheered when Kylo turns on the Snoke. Not many cheers when Luke is even on the screen. So it is mostly new fans to the franchise.

Nobody cheered in my theater. Even my kids weren’t that excited. Of course they said they liked it but I think they just like going to the movies because they say that after every movie. I asked them what their favorite scene was and they said “I dunno.” I asked them who their favorite character was and they said “I dunno.”

I was very very shocked ppl cheered. Especially where they cheered in the movie.
Ppl are dumb and just follow the group sometimes.

Revenge wasn't that bad. It isn't epic but it has its moments.
Batman vs Superman might be the worst movie I have ever viewed in theaters.

And again, the real tragedy is that this movie will make bank. You could make a movie about monkeys throwing little balls of shite at each other (which is apparently what they've actually done), call it Star Wars and make a billion dollars easily. Even if it's lower than desired or projected, this simple fact will convince them that they made all the right choices.
And get ready for 10 more Star Wars movies. I done told you people. They won't stop squeezing the life out of it until you hate Star Wars and never want to see it again.
