For some reason, this one blew my mind as a kid

Odd that it came from Rankin and Bass, the Christmas claymation dudes.

7 pages late, but The Duel for some reason stuck with me.

A movie about a semi terrorizing a man driving through the desert southwest. That's it. Somehow it worked. I think this was like the first movie Speilberg ever directed.

Recently finished reading The Andromeda Strain, another Michael Chrichton book. Good stuff. Never saw the movie though

When I first heard of this movie, I remembered thinking you'd have to be somewhat retarded to try to hide as a scarecrow in a field with cops.

And then I saw the movie, and the guy was actually medically retarded.

But what was crazy was the cops were portrayed as huge heroes and it's a modern day lynching of a mentally disabled person in 1980's. That was weird as hell.

For killing a mentally disabled person who decided to hide as a Scarecrow in a corn field. They could have easily brought him in...arrested him for the crime he didn't commit...but they just went target practice on him.

Its one of those crazy revenge movies...in spirit. Because the midwest town is cool with the killing so his ghost has to get revenge.

This weird straight to video educational movie (starring Fred Savage!) my mom bought at the dinosaur museum. There was a part with animatronics that scared the crap out of me, but it also had this hilarious song + music video. My sister and I still sing it to each other occasionally

If you watch it. Stick to the original. The remake wasn't very good.

That was a pretty messed up movie for network tv.

Oh...thinking on network tv. This movie messed me up. The scene where everyone was coughing from being forced to drink drain cleaner, horrified me.
