I didn't see it until late. I like it but didn't that much the first time...or more accurately, I didn't love it as much as I've heard people gush about it. I like it more the 2nd time I watched it, which was probably 6 months ago.
It's very good, though. I'll probably grow to appreciate it more in time.
I think the combination of what I thought it was going to be + its tone + where it went just didn't mesh the first time I saw it, but now that I've seen it again that conflict isn't as present.

Lol. Fantastic movie. Ain't what you're thinking though. Intense, emotionally charged movie! Sissy Spacek performed a scene that got her an Oscar nomination. I teared up during it. It's about a couple losing their only child to manslaughter from his girlfriend's ex.
