These are probably the 2 hottest actors right now. (Not hot as in how they look, No homo) Wether it's lead or just a supporting role they really get into character & seem to steal each scene.

Fassbender
Oscar Nominations - 2
Best Movies
Inglorious Basterds, 300, Steve Jobs, 12 Years A Slave, Band of Brothers (TV)

Hardy
Oscar Nominations - 1
Best Movies
Inception, Black Hawk Down, Warrior, The Revenant, The Dark Knight Rises

No. Dear lord. How do you leave off Bronson? Bane is a spec of dirt compared to his work in Bronson.

I know he's one of the "it" guys right now, but I'm not a huge Hardy fan and find him fairly overrated.

And admittedly I have enjoyed him in a some things, but find that most of the time his praise is a bit unworthy. I must be missing something about him.

Having said that. He was pointless in Fury Road.

On the other hand, he is the best thing about Peaky Blinders albeit in a small roll.

Yes. Clearly Charlize was the main character.

Ok. I don't see why that makes him pointless.

I cannot wait to see Tom Hardy in Dunkirk. I hold out hope for him playing a german officer but its unlikely.

Only a Christopher Nolan WW2 movie has a chance to unseat Star Wars Episode 8 in terms of my personal excitement for it.

I will watch anything with Hardy or Murphy.

The Wind That Shakes the Barley is one of my all-time favorites.

I'd put Fassbender just ahead of Hardy but it's very close. I think the pub basement scene in Inglourious Basterds puts him in the lead.

Had about as much impact as Cranston in saving private Ryan.

I think they're both great. Hard to choose between them.

You left off a GREAT role for Hardy. He absolutely should have been nominated for his role in The Drop. That is a movie that is all about subtle character development and revelation. Mediocre acting would have been exposed, but Hardy was phenomenal.
