Does this commercial trigger anyone else? I hate the song, I hate all the little videos. It’s everything annoying about social media all wrapped into 30 seconds.

Don't worry. It's Chinese and we're getting rid of it.

Chinese food is next.

It's way too inclusive for the people that started posting on the MTV board after Disney ruined Star Wars.

I've seen this commercial so much as of late, weird they start advertising when they are so close to be canceled.

It seems crossdressing and grandmas are the in thing on social media anymore.

Looks like I put my foot in my mouth. Looks like a deal was made...

quote:

Just hours before new app downloads would be banned in the United States, Vanessa Pappas, the interim head of TikTok, announced on Saturday that the company has reached a proposal with Oracle and Walmart that will keep the video sharing platform alive in the country. The deal has also been approved by President Donald Trump, reports Bloomberg.

So now it's a good thing? They went from pedophile warnings to approving it?

Instead of the Chinese having your personal data, Oracle will now sell it to all of its clients. What a win for America.

Lmao there was never a moral reasoning behind Trump wanting to ban TikTok. It was never about pedos. It was about collecting personal information and data mining. Now all of the info collected goes to US companies to sell to the US govt instead of directly going to the Chinese govt. Yay?
