Was coming here to post this. There's probably 3-4 scenes in T2 that could make any epic moment list. The first encounter of the machines and subsequent chase scene, shootout at the lab, and the final scene you pictured are all amazing.

What’s the criteria?

Because the opening of Saving Private Ryan is one of the most epic scenes ever filmed.

I guess it’s a generational thing. Rhett Butler’s line to Scarlett was always “the scene”. And I grew up in the 80’s.

I would think that you would have to include the police station scene in the first Terminator if you're going that route....scans the area, leans in, "I'll be back."

EDIT: Looking at the list, I'm thinking they are sticking to a definition of "classic movies" as pre-1980.

Much lower tech:

Crocodile Dundee," That's not a knife, now THIS is a knife."

Also low tech:

The final scene of Casablanca

Animal House:
When the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor

Star Wars IV: the fight scene in the snow when sterosound scared the heck of of an entire audience world.

I'm pretty sure the cut-off is 1980. There aren't any films on this list that are younger than 1979.

Or when Sam plays As Time Goes By and Rick storms out of his office and she’s there and they talk about Paris. That’s my #1.

The woke brigand is not going to be happy with this list.

I see nothing but white privilege in the films listed.

Watchmojo fixing to be cancelled.

Guys the list is for "Classic" films. Terminator is not in that category.

The criteria definitely includes being much older than Saving Private Ryan.
