The Simpsons just aired a series finale fake out

Certainly a way to start a new season by acting like it’s the series finale. Solid episode overall with lots of call back to classic episodes and some cameos by iconic one off characters.

Frank Grimes was on there. I spotted the Cheers gag after the second one, it was funny to see it become such a big joke in the episode.
I also liked the characters inserted into final scenes of other shows and putting Sideshow Bob in the Frasier one.

I was thinking to myself near the end "this really need Hank Scorpio". Boom, Hank Scorpio a few seconds later
