I'd give Blazing Saddles the edge simply because of the social commentary it contains. From a pure comedic standpoint they (BS & YF) are dead even.

Blazing Saddles is the best, but Spaceballs is my favorite.

Watched all 3 in last week. Blazing and young are so good, I call tie for those 2

The sad thing is, as everyone here agrees, Blazing Saddles is one of top comedies ever, certainly one of Brooks'best. Yet, he was quoted as saying he could never make B.S. in today's world. Speaks volumes for political correctness & the damage is has/can do.

yes, millenials, snoflakes, PC police would melt if mel brooks tried today to make a similar movie. we were a better society when we could freely laugh at others in general. when it was said in BS that the chinks could stay but not the irish that was hilarious. if said today we would have people wanting brooks deported.

I think the entire country should collectively watch Blazing Saddles together. Just like everyone watches Its A Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve.

Our race relations would be solved if every American should watch before they are 18.
