I'm probably the same age as you, but I grew up preferring the Haley Mills version.
The Lohan version has the bizarre scene where Dennis Quaid takes Natasha Richardson into his wine cellar to show her he has the wine from their wedding, and he delivers this creepy line that's supposed to be romantic
like a fricking serial killer.
