just started the Black Goku storyline. I thought the Super Human Water storyline was dumb, unfortunately. Although, it was pretty funny watching Vegeta root for both copy Vegeta and Goku for different reasons 
There has been a good amount of comedic moments up until this new storyline (Beerus has turned to be one of my favorite characters) with black goku. things went dark real quick.

Not Dragon Ball Super related, but I'm running through Dragon Ball Z Kai (Bought seasons 1-4 on sale at my local Hastings since they're all going out of business) and I truly got fired up when Goku went SS against Frieza

Anyone know why Episode 55 didn't air this weekend? Thought they were releasing the subbed episode once a week, but just checked and 54 is still up as the newest.

I'm starting my full rewatch today.
Season 1. Episode 1. The Arrival of Raditz.
I will admit, I always struggle to start a rewatch. Usually I just want to skip to Vegeta and Nappa, skip to Namek and then to cell. But I'm gonna try and not skip around this time.

I love the Vegeta and Nappa arc. In the Raditz saga it still feels like regular dragonball where the people are strong, but it's not over the top ridiculous power you see in DBZ. When the Vegeta and Nappa arc starts it completely changes the way the series feels to a more epic/serious feel. Plus Yamcha getting blown up is always a plus.

I think that's about as far as I got in super. I'll probably power through it when I get back stateside next month though

The Dragon Ball Z Kai are awful.
They changed Vegitas voice and they have that awful Japanese music.
The Funimation music is one of the main things that made DBZ great.

I love Kai, no watching filler episodes of Goku and Piccolo trying to get their freaking drivers licenses. I was fine with it when I was 12-years-old, but at 26 I don't have the luxury to waste 22 minutes on an episode that achieves nothing in big scheme of things.
I will say the music is definitely odd, but I thought it was so bad that I actually kind of liked it
