This pilot was strong. Looks to be another hit maybe for HBO. Love the dark and monochromatic style in this episode. Hope that theme lasts throughout. And Jesus in this thing is just awesome. JT is a fantastic actor.
Now on to the good stuff. Did anyone catch a man's hat hanging by the deer head when they first got back to her house? And then after Naz awakes in the kitchen post sex and begins walking up stairs the hat is missing next to the deer head. Was a male already in the house before they arrived? And/Or he lives there and left with the hat after the murder? If so, we haven't been introduced to the killer yet.

The decorum of the house is what caught my attention. Very dark with red lighting and several skull decorations visible if I'm not mistaken. Makes me wonder if something darker isnt at play.

it's definitely across between Serial S1 & True Detective S1. The entire mini series is based off of the BBC Series "Criminal Justice" (which I refuse to watch).

SIAP but didn't see it mentioned on last couple pages.... But I haven't seen anyone mention the guy on the motorcycle who pulls up next to him after he flees the scene/before he gets pulled over ... Something tells me he will come back into play down the road, possibly as a witness, maybe more than that... Or perhaps nothing at all

That dude gave me a weird vibe as well. Outside of the old man who saw him break the window & the ford he pulled out infront of. They are the only people to see him after he discovers unknown dead girl.
