They're still reporting news from May-ish 2011. I'm sure they'll have plenty of stuff to cover.

10th Anniversary of 9/11 and Ground Zero reipening
A shite ton of Gadhafi and Libya news
Penn State scandal
Kim Jong II dies
Lots of Republican ticket news (i.e. Cain suspending his campaign)
And that's just skimming through December 2011. I doubt content will be an issue.

Plus the election itself which I'm sure will bring some action in the next 90 days. It's not a great show by any means, and sorkin can be so heavy handed, but I'm a huge fan of sports night and this is very similar.
