Haven't seen much buzz about this, but it's getting really good reviews so far.
Hasn't picked up by a U.S. streamer yet (I assume still under negotiation), but it's being ran by Max in Europe and Amazon Prime in the rest of the Anglosphere starting April 18.
I'll watch almost anything with Ciaran Hinds.
Anything else out there about this?

He's incredible.
I like the trailer, but Kurzel has made more garbage films than good. I know people liked The Order with Jude Law. Haven't seen that one yet.

I posted about this the other day. It looks great but the trailer was filmed visually dark.

I finally got around to watching it. So far I’ve watched 4 out of the 5 episodes and it is extremely bleak to say the least. It’s a story of both love and life as a prisoner.
The story jumps around to three different points in Dorrigo’s life: The weeks or days before he goes to the Pacific, his life as an Australian POW, and his life in the 80s as a surgeon. That provides getting a few breaks from it being completely depressing.
