Saw a tweet that i think really sums it um

The Muppet Christmas Carol is great because Michael Cain acts like all the muppets like they’re human

Muppet Treasure Island is great because Tim Curry acts like he is a muppet

They’re inconsistent, but the good ones are great. My favorites are “The Muppets” with Jason Segel and “Muppet Treasure Island” with Tim Curry.

Even the “bad” ones are fun like Muppets Most Wanted which gave us the evil Kermit memes.
