On Netflix. Took a break from football and baseball tonight and watched it. Dutch WW2 movie very well done. It was interesting to see a different point of view from Dutch resistance and Canadian forces. Takes place in the Schelot Estuary and Antwerp. Also tracks the story of a shot down RAF glider pilot.

Thought it was one of the better war movies I've seen in awhile.

I watched it last night. Thought it was ok and did enjoy seeing a different perspective. They kinda rushed over a couple storylines and some WW2 buffs won’t enjoy the inaccuracies but overall not bad. Probably wouldn’t watch again

Russia has been making some decent World War II movies over the last ten years or so, if you fancy a look at the eastern front. A lot are on YouTube.

It’s a documentary series but Soviet Storm in the east is very well done. Eastern front is fascinating to me due to the sheer size of the armies involved. Would love to see a movie on the battles of Kursk/prokhorovka

Started this kind of late last night and didn't finish it, does the pace pick up any? I feel like there is a good story in there, but its moving a little slow in what I've seen. Also how did you watch it it, dutch with english subtitles? english dub?

Also, how did they convince soldiers to get into a glider? from the looks of it, there's really no positive outcome for the passenger/pilot?

They have some pretty good action at the end whenever they finally try to cross the bridge but other than that not really. I watched it last night it was ok. And you always go with how it was intended to be watched which is Dutch with English subtitles, how people sit through English dub is crazy to me
