What are they going to do? The 16 year old employees don't care. They should police it better. At least I give the theater some money and don't stream it illegally for free.

Justifying theft through some assinine reasoning doesn't make it not stealing.

I've actually bought tickets for one movie and seen another INSTEAD of the original.
But as has been said already, its because I was under age.

i've never done this, and never will...if i make that bad a decision, it's my fault, not the theater's...if i buy a dvd and don't like it, is the retailer supposed to take it back because i made a bad decision?

When I was 16 a bunch of us bought tickets to John Tucker Must Die but went and saw The Decent instead. A few of the girls we were with were being really loud and laughing a lot so they came and checked our tickets when the movie only had ~20 mins left. I had to google the ending of The Decent and I'm still technically banned from the Rave at The Mall of LA

Oh well. Put me in jail then and have the tax payers pay for my food and room and board if it's that upsetting.

I was stealing when I did it. I have no doubt and am not justifying it. I never decided a movie was so bad I was gonna see another movie. I planned to go and see multiple movies when I did it.

It almost always works out to where one movie starts when the other ends on the dot. Sometimes it is very close and I get in just as the 20 minutes of previews end but it's not big loss because they usually show the same previews in every movie.

This basically boils down to a person being one of these two -
1. A cheapskate, free loader with a high sense of entitlement. Also one who will find any excuse whatsoever in order to justify their shady actions.
2. A person with good moral values who has respect for other people's financial investments.

I walked out of a terrible movie based on Jack the Ripper after about 1 minute and saw zoolander. That was a great decision. I didn't consider it stealing at the time but maybe it was. Mugatu got my DVD money though.

If studios can justify spending 200 million on crap I can justify my 10 bucks being worth something

Perfect example of the "cheapskate / high sense of entitlement" attitude right there.

Would you prefer him to just stream it for free instead of paying $12 for a ticket? It's like someone leaving a $100 bill on the floor and not expecting anyone to take it. If I don't someone else will. If you want to call it cheap, so be it.

I don't go to the theatre chief and if I did I doubt I would do such a thing
But something seems wrong when you'll defend some faceless corporation over joe shite the rag man who makes 12$ a hour

No something seems wrong with the sense of entitlement generation thinking it is okay to pay for one movie and then jump to another one or multiple ones for free.
But keep trying to spin your "but its okay to do because they are big corporations" logic into making sense.

How does joe and Jill jumping ship from movie to movie effect you?
So the sense of entitlement generation is out of line but the outraged over nothing generation isn't?

It doesn't effect me. I'm just thankful that I'm not free loading trash who thinks that is okay to do.
Shame on you cheapskate

Disney actually encourages this with Disney Movie Rewards. You take a picture of your ticket stub and when you have enough points, you can get free movies. More studios should do this to have bigger box office returns.

Guess who raised the free loaders to be the way they are? Blame the Baby Boomers for not instilling values.
