I received an email about season 3 but I had never heard of the show before. I checked Rotten Tomatoes and the reveiws were 99%/100% critics/audience. So I ordered seasons 1+2 dvd. Looking forward to seeing them.

You will not regret it. It stays right in line with biblical teaching plus great acting and production quality.

Yep. I just got back. A lot of people will poo-poo this show due to the subject matter but I promise you guys, this isn't like any show about Jesus you have seen before. Unlike previous films/miniseries on the subject, this series does not present the Gospel from Christ's point of view. Instead, Christ's fallible and imperfect followers are the focus of the show. Through them we see the miracles of Jesus and get to experience their doubts, struggles, and triumphs as if we were watching real human beings trying to cope with things they just don't understand. The writing, characters, and acting are all very solid.

For example, there is a very emotional scene involving Jesus and one of his disciples, who was born with a handicapping deformity and is very self-conscious about it. He can't understand why Jesus doesn't heal him when he has healed so many others in his presence. Christ's response is very profound and heartfelt and his reasoning was very inspirational.

Is this on Amazon? We saw season one and it was great, but season two was only available to purchase.

I believe the second season is now available to Prime members. However, if it is not, you can download the Chosen App onto your phone and stream onto your TV from there.

Loved this! All the prosperity and faith healers need to watch this! Jesus has better plans for us than a good wealthy/earthly/healthy life in the temporary. He’s got his eyes set on eternity and we should too!

I love the scene when Jesus is telling them all what they will do for him, lol, they are like, really? Hahaha I’m fired up

Go here
Angel Studios

Best series I have ever watched. I hope by Season 3 opening in theatres, it will garner more support and gather more funds. The series is completely supported by us, the viewers.

Season 1 and 2 stream for free on angel studios app on Roku.

I sent them $15 a while back. Simply cause they deserve it. Was like crowd funding season 3. Will go see in theater soon. Didnt know it was in theaters.

Believe they are working on an animated David movie as well.

I'm just glad it's gotten a season 2 and 3. was going to be really bummed if they weren't able to finish it. Pretty sad when "catch me outside" girl is bringing in millions on Onlyfans and probably the best series about Jesus Christ struggles to find funding.

I will say that some of the fund raising stuff after season 1 seemed kind of sketch. glad they followed through with it though. my wife donated some money and got a fish shirt

After last night's live stream with the show's creator, it's looking like this show's future is secure. He was almost 100% certain that season four will film in the spring and that they will be able to finish their planned seven season arc.
