There are a minimum of a 5 of my most hated posters in this thread. Its no surprise they are either all trolling, or genuinely dont like the movie. Either way, i wish for them to have their privates yanked off by trucks.
You can't see how strange this reaction is?

GoldenTiger85:
The first time I saw TBL, I got to "Gutterballs" and just gave up. I was like "This movie is weird and unfunny." So I rewound the tape and sent it back to the rental store. This was circa 1999 and I was in college. Fast forward a few years of maturity. I'm now 34 years old and TBL is one of my favorite movies ever. I've seen it a couple dozen times, own books and t-shirts, became a Dudeist priest (google it), and my city is the home of the Lebowski Fest (internationally renowned!).
Maybe clear your mind and come back to it a year or two from now. Maybe even pour yourself a few caucasians to get in the mood... or whatever it takes to keep your mind limber.

Well, I thought it was average at best. It had some good moments in it, but I had to pause it twice because I was so bored with it. I do not get the hype for this movie.

"The story is ludicrous. You can imagine where it goes from here."
"He fixes the cable?"
"Don't be fatuous, Jeffrey."

Never was a fan of this movie.
I don't hate it, but I don't jerk off to it like alot of others do.
Only comedy that I fricking hate that other people I know love is tropic thunder.
Show fricking sucks.

You and I share an almost exact sentiment for TBL. Almost everyone I know hails it as one of the best movies ever, but I've never understood why.
I will say that it is pretty solidly quotable, but other than that, it's vastly overrated.
